Spring Art Party

Ages 6-10
2 hours

Students were inspired by the work of Yehouda Chaki as they explored color mixing and overlapping imagery.

The challenge was to use long brush strokes, mix colors without over mixing, and overlap images.

Many times students do not get a chance to go back and work on paintings multiple times. By having students go back to fill in shapes or add lines and new colors helped create a dense forest landscape.
